Home Performance with ENERGY
STAR is a collaboration between Missouri Gas Energy, KCP&L and the
Kansas City Metropolitan Energy Center.
The program is sponsored by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and is part of the government’s ENERGY STAR pro gram. This program is for Missouri customers only.
Qualified homeowners can receive up to $1,200 in rebates for following the guidelines of the Home Performance with Energy Star program offered by KCP&L and MGE.
Steps to complete the program and qualify for the maximum rebate:
NOTE: Missouri customers who do not have both MGE and KCP&L as their electric and gas providers may still participate, but will only receive up to $600 in bill credits from their respective utility provider

- Schedule a Home Performance with Energy Star audit
- Complete your energy efficient improvements as stated on the Recommendation dorm by your auditor
- Schedule a post audit with your auditor
- Submit application along with receipts for audit and all work completed
